# Source releases — 2026-10-03

These ZIPs contain snapshots of the current filesystem source, including
uncommitted files, all project-local assets (GLB, PNG, catalogue JSON and other
asset files), configurations, package lockfiles, documentation, tests and
existing licence/attribution notices. Application source and asset files have
not been modified for packaging.

Extract the three archives into the same parent directory to reproduce the
pipeline layout. See TERRAIN_PIPELINE_QUICKSTART.md for the demo.

Build each web application from its own directory:

```sh
npm ci
npm run build
```

The directories are PCTE-rewrite/threejs-editor, 3JPCS and 3JHV. Serve the resulting
dist/ directory over HTTP to publish each web app; offer the corresponding
source ZIP alongside it. Dependency installation requires npm registry access
or a populated cache; installed applications use local runtime assets.

The PCTE archive also includes its frozen PCE-2.0.1 Python reference, example
project and sibling planning documents because its fixture/verification tools
and README reference them. 3JPCS includes its own python_reference directory.
Python is not needed to build or run the web apps.

PCTE and 3JHV archives include the shared browser_validation package manifests
in their original relative location. Optional browser checks additionally need
npm ci in browser_validation and a Playwright browser installation. No browser
binaries or installed dependency directories are bundled.

Excluded: Git metadata, node_modules, dist, virtual environments, caches,
coverage/browser reports, logs and temporary development files. Existing
bundled runtime data, examples and test fixtures are retained unchanged.

Each application's SOURCE_ARCHIVE_MANIFEST.json records every packaged file
with its size and SHA-256 hash, apart from the manifest itself. SHA256SUMS.txt
beside the ZIPs records whole-archive hashes. Packaging verification checks
archive integrity, exact member lists, every file against the current source,
and complete inclusion of each project's assets. Application builds and
interactive tests were not run as part of packaging.
